- At the time of birth the head is about ¼ the length of the body when we reach adulthood it is 1/8 the length of the body

- The thinnest skin in the body is the eyelids - with an average of 1/32 of an inch (0.8 mm).

- The thickest skin in the body is the sole - with an average of 1/8 of an inch (3.2 mm).

- The tallest species of man are the Watusi of Burundi and Rwanda in Africa
